Visit CDU’s Virtual Open Day from home
People wanting to explore study opportunities at Charles Darwin University can have their questions answered from the comfort of their own homes this Sunday during the university’s Virtual Open Day.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, CDU’s Virtual Open Day will be held completely online for the first time.
From anywhere on any device, visitors can access CDU’s virtual hall that houses an array of stalls providing a one-stop-shop to explore a range of study options.
Visitors can watch educational videos and take part in 10-minute webinars, browse course information, take a virtual campus tour, and collect flyers in a virtual backpack.
CDU Student Recruitment and Events manager Marissa Briston said university staff and students would be available to chat live and answer any questions as part of the event.
“This is a great opportunity to find out more about VET courses and higher education degrees, from the comfort of your own home,” she said.
“This year has brought with it a lot of questions about career options. Tertiary study can provide opportunities to build or consolidate your knowledge and learn new skills, preparing you to either move into a new field or bolster your position in the industry you work.
“Whether you’re ready to start studying, just thinking about it, or are actively comparing your course options, CDU’s Virtual Open Day can give you all the information to decide whether study is the right step for you.”
The Virtual Open Day will be held this Sunday, 23 August, from 10am to 2pm. For more information and to register visit: virtualopenday.cdu.edu.au
