CIFAS information day to suit enquiring minds
Current and prospective students interested in engaging in a host of programs offered by the College of Indigenous Futures, Arts & Society are being encouraged to attend an information and enrolment day tomorrow.
The CIFAS Information and Enrolment Day will take place on Thursday between 11am and 6pm, with interested students able to make an appointment either online, by phone or face-to-face.
CIFAS Dean Professor Ruth Wallace said the information day was designed for students wishing to re-evaluate their career options, change things up or build on their skills and knowledge.
“It’s an opportunity for any student to study any units out of the College and to talk with supervisors and lecturers,” she said.
“You can call, you can drop in, you can book a session online and we’ll make sure you can talk to someone who is knowledgeable in the area and help make you part of our family.
“All questions are welcome; if we don’t know, we’ll find out who does.”
From Indigenous Knowledges to Social Sciences, the Arts to Disaster Management, Professor Wallace said CIFAS has courses or units to suit every enquiring mind.
“It’s a chance to come and explore; we’re here to help you find the right program,” she said.
“Whether you are thinking about study or a current student planning the rest of your year, our friendly staff and lecturers will be available to chat with you, answer your questions, or help with the enrolment process for the coming semesters.
“We’ll help you plan a program that will help you stand out from the crowd.”
